Since I'm writing comments about "kids"....I thought I'd add one about Mary Jean.

I always thought she was the MOST beautiful girl in the world.  And she was so nice too.  I absolutely loved her hair and the dos that she would have. She inspired me.

She was a special girl.

Loved being with Mary Jean.  She had class and sophistication before her time.  I was truly blessed to be her friend.  Just such a tragedy regarding her illness and passing at such an early age.   Her beauty was a legend...

She sat behind me in 11th grade English class. She had the cutest smile and beautiful eyes. I got up the nerve to ask her to the Junior Prom and we had a great time. As is the case for many of us during those formative years we drift away and lose track; although I tried not to drift away from Mary Jean it happened. Then came college, the Air Force, and I ended up living in Arizona and traveling in many states in the west. As I understand it Mary Jean stayed in the Capital District area.  My life is richer because of her. Thank you Mary Jean and I hope God is smiling with you!

I am so happy to see people commenting on MJ's site. I think of her often and have never had a better friend. She and I went to Maine for a summer and had the time of our lifes. Her loss is so great in my life that it is hard to talk about. She was the best! Such class and style. We laughed, cried and grew together and I will never forget her. I cherish having been a part of her and Larry's wedding and will always hold her in my heart.
