Terry and I grew up together on Terry Avenue, went to Fort Hunter Elementary, Guilderland Central Junior HIgh and High School together as well, in many of the same classes. She was always a lively part of any class discussion. The last time I saw her, before I left Jacksonville for Boulder, she was so sad that her son-in-law Ben had been killed while serving in the Middle East. If only she had had more years to enjoy her husband Mike, her daughters, and her grandchildren! I was hoping to catch up with her in our 50th reunion.

This is truly a loss.  Terry was always so generous and caring, cheerful and sincere.  I have many fond memories of her in classes with me at GCHS.  My thoughts and prayers go to her family at this difficult time.

With warm regards,

Paulette Weatherwax Smith

I was so sorry to hear this. I also attended Fort Hunter elementary school, Guilderland junior high and high school and graduated with Terry.  She was always nice to everyone. I will remember you fondly Terry and wish to send hugs to all who loved her. 🌹

I will always remember Terry as someone that always was positive. We went to Ft Hunter, and Guilderland Junior and senior high schools. I was her date for the 6th grade dance. I can still remember how pretty she was. I'm sure she will be missed by her friends and especially her family, She was such a nice person.

Regards

Larry W. Petersen

Terry was a great addition to our family and a life long friend.   She and my brother, Michael, shared the love of family, travel, and adventure.   Through the years, they took many trips including Ireland, Russia, Bermuda, and traveled throughout the United States and Carribean.   While she battled T-cell Lymphoma for about 10 years, she never gave up hope that the doctors could keep it under control and she could continue to enjoy life.   She had just learned that her daughter, Michelle and her husband Tommy are expecting a second baby in July and she was so happy about it.  She had a great faith and it gave her much comfort throughout her life.  We loved her and will miss her smile, her sense of humor and her "ugly" Christmas sweaters!!!
